New global strategic partnerships forged
During 2019, we’ve had the opportunity to discuss with businesses, governments and civil society actors in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. Everywhere the sentiment is similar - digital rights of citizens and the basic rules of a fair data ecosystem are a current topic. In 2020, we are continuing our work across the globe to connect communities by organising large regional events and bringing together leading actors from the business, legal, tech and society sectors.
Vastuu Group announces becoming the first MyData operator in Finland
As Finland’s first MyData operator Vastuu Group acts as a link between individuals and the different parties and systems that hold personal data. Individual information is collected into several different systems and solutions.
‘Principles for a human-centric, thriving and balanced data economy’ published
Founding member and partner The Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications has been developing a set of data principles during the Finnish EU Presidency. They are about not only personal data but data more generally.
MyData Global’s strategy for 2020-2022 confirmed
The most important goal of MyData Global in 2020-2022 is to accelerate practical advances towards the three shifts of the MyData Declaration by developing of skills, knowledge and connections of people in the MyData community and more widely in the digital services industries.
